Default modified exhaust

i got pulled over a couple days ago for speeding and the dumb pig sat in his car and gave me an exhaust ticket and mailed it home to me...i was wondering if i put in stock headers will the noise db go down?

just swap back your old exhaust system and get it cleared, replacing your stock header will not do anything as far as your db levels go

going back to the stock header isn't going to reduce the sound that much. why not get a quieter exhaust? what kind of exhaust do u have on it right now? wait lemme guess u probably have a test pipe on it and don't have a reso on it either??

well it doesnt matter if he has a resonator or not..thats how Ca cops are regardless, if they see some shiny muffler youre done for

i have a magnaflow exhaust that looks bone stock...i even painted it black...when he gave me the speeding ticket i didnt even rev i drove it normally didnt even past 3000 rpm...damn pigs

last time i went to the referee it was 109 noise db...if i get a resenator for my exhaust think it'll be at 98 noise db?

why not go to a machine shop and have them make a silencer for you, they usually will do it for like 50.00

I had a magnaflow on my teg. Right when they started the car up to pull it off the racck I knew i was gonna get rolled. Well 2 years later i got rolled. But for some reason mine was not a fix-it. It was fine only. I still got a resonator installed and the car is really quite now (except at WOT in high RPM) No visit to the ref, and nothing to get signed off. Just pay up and I was done.
