Default help me make some all motor desicions for my ITR

current mods on stock b18c5:

T1R 4-2-1 2.5" header (in transit)
T1R 2.5" resonated test pipe (in transit)
T1R 2.5" cat-back exhaust
J's Racing Intake
AEM pulleys(previous owners mod)

I've got a hondata base s200 system with p28 ecu waiting to go on as well.

I would like to keep the motor internally stock for now.

I'm thinking add some cam gears and fpr before i go get it tuned on hondata.

Any other "bolt-on" mods that would be beneficial? I don't see the need for a different TB or IM as the TypeR oem pieces seem to be pretty good.

What about a different IM gasket like the hondata one, would that be beneficial? i know things like spark plugs/wires/grounding kits are minimal, but are they worth it to squeeze out every bit of performance before modding the internals of the motor?

It's got 39Kmiles on it right now...i might switch to synthetic oil as i have seen dyno comparisons that show 1-2 whp difference...worth it?

please help out a relative noob to the N/A world...

and yes, i have read up a ton, that's why i made the choices i have for the mods i currently have. thanks so much, Curtis.

oh, forgot one thing...one of my friends suggested upping the injectors to 310's...would this be beneficial? what about an aftermarket fuel rail such as str or aem? thanks for the help in advance.

You might try the AEBS intake manifold, it should be good for 2-3 whp. A Hondata or equivalent intake gasket would not hurt either. Some mild cams like Toda A's or Skunk Stage 1's would also net you a little boost. You won't really need to upgrade your injectors or change your fuel rail with your current mods. Dyno time and tuning your Hondata will get you some nice gains

i was reading up on cams and seems like the BC3+'s might be a good option as they are fully compatible with OEM ITR valvetrain, would those be a good daily driver cam as well as the occasional drag race at the track?

AEBS IM could net gains over oem ITR? i'll look into that...

i'm very interested to see how much the hondata helps with some good dyno tuning, i'm expecting to get the most out of that for sure.

i'm going with something very simple myself....you have your basic i/h/e, i just recently put in bc3+ cams along with cam gears, fpr, and fuel pump. i am going to upgrade my injectors to maybe 370 right before i get tuned on a s100

AEBS intake, aftermarket rail and regulator, get your throttlebody machined/enlarged, RM spark plugs, 8lb flywheel. That should keep it entertaining without actually going inside the motor. Definitey use the hondata for tuning, it'll make a big difference. have fun

ahh, yes, i also want to upgrade my clutch flywheel before the end of summer. thanks for the inputs guys. would a 255lph fuel pump be a good upgrade to go with the fuel rail/fpr/injectors and tuning? pretty much what i'm looking to do is get the UTMOST power without opening the motor, i want this thing to be super reliable and fun to drive(haha, as if it isn't fun allready...5th gear vtec, now that's excitement )

if you are keeping the motor stock for a while, just leave the stock fuel pump, it is good enough. Once you start getting into cams and higher compression, then it would be a good idea to start looking into getting a 190 pump. If you are going to build a nutso motor and possibly spray it, then a 255 would be the better choice.
