ok here is the deal my car won't start it turns over, i am getting fuel or at least when i let the car turn over for like 10 seconds it smell like raw fuel, the car has no spark, but here is the kicker i have tryed another dizzy on my car(a known good one) and a different dizzy converison harness ( a known good one). I am running obd0 to obd1. what should we try next?
cliff notes:

tested known good dizzy
and known good dizzy converison harness
little side notes the car ran for about 2 weeks then started to blow dizzys blow 2 in 2 days.
what else could it be

ok, first things first.
you where OBD0, and the car worked fine. Right?
and when you put the harness on it wont start?
what harness is it? boomslang??

Who wired up the dizzy for OBD1? You need to recheck the wiring from the stock ecu harness, and make sure the wiring didn't come undone or something. If it ran for two weeks, the wiring must have been right, so check for a loose wire or cut one first. Second, I've dealt with alot of B16's blowing ignitors in the dizzy. Don't know why it does it, just does. Check that!

Nuff said! BOOMSLANG! Harnesses are no good. We've had nothing but problems with their harnesses. We get ours and have to rewire the harness itself because it's wrong. Then, after we rewire, the car runs good for a while, and then runs no more, so we have to manually rewire everything. Boomslang= CACA!

JKOBD get's
from me too. He has already said that he tested the dizzy conversion harness w/ a working one and still the same outcome so, his wiring diagram would be irrelevant.

Okay, so it ran for two weeks and now it doesn't? Check your wiring. Something may be loose or shorting out.
Are you getting a CEL?
Known good dizzy converter harness?
Not all manufacturers have the same pinouts for the harnesses. A distributor harness that works for one may not work for another.
I strongly urge you to wire the distributor as stated in the instructions that were provided with the harness. If you do, you will have no problems.
99% of no-start issues are cause by improper distributor wiring.

Well here's my $.02 I just got my boomslang and it started right up no issues whatsoever. I had contacted blown 90 hatch to get one from him first but I was in a hurry and I waited 2 days on a reply from him and got none so I got the boomslang.
I got one blown 90 hatch obd-2 to obd-1 harness in the past, and it started fine but he had pinned one of the wires to the iacv wrong and it took my about 5 hours of trouble shotting to get it right. I do know for a fact he would have sent me another one, but I was already in a bind with the customers car needing to be out the door so I had to eat 5 hours of 40 an hour shop labor.
But seriously, if you have never ran a harness then shut the **** up about it till you have had problems with it. I'm happy with the boomslang one and I will order another blown 90 one again if I ever need to.
