Default Do any of you have problem with DC 4-1 header?

Hi

I recently bought a DC 4-1 header for my 95 Integra GSR. However, I can't get it fit to my car. There are two problems.

First, the lower mounting bracket of my stock header is up straight. But the bracket on DC 4-1 is tilt in an angle. If I mount the lower bracket, I can’t even get the upper part of the DC 4-1 header will to align with the engine head bolts. Some of you may suggest me not to use the lower mounting bracket. In fact, I did try this way of installation and here come the next problem. The header is directly contact with my oil pan. That’s right, directly contact. I can’t even put a piece of paper in between. I first thought DC has package the wrong header so I bring mine where I bought it (a very respectful multi location local auto parts store), and try to compare the one I have with another DC 4-1 header (box open right in front of me). Guess what, both header have the same measurement, same lower mounting bracket design. How odd will DC package 2 header wrong?

My question is, has any of you have the same problem like I experienced? I am the only owner of the car so the engine is true B18C1. Engine never open since out of show room. Parts # I order is DC 4-1 header, AHC6607 for Acura Integra 1994-99 GSR. Before I order my DC, I bought an OBX 4-2-1 header and also have the problem with the lower mounting bracket. So I return my OBX and get DC, which I thought will sure fit my car.

Please note my car is a Canadian 95 GSR. But I did research over the years and pretty sure there is no different in part between US and Canadian model. At least not in engine parts.

Any idea?

Thanks for any input.

Hmmmm, I don't have a DC but I've put a 4-1 w/ 2.5" collector on my car, and had no problems... Are you sure it's an OEM oil pan...? Maybe the pan was replaced before you bought the car...? Other than that, the only other problem I could see is that you have one for a D-Series...

Bump for some opinions...

Well, I am the first and only owner of the car. So unless Acura gave me the wrong oil pan, I don’t see any reason why my car will be different from other integra.

What is the odd for DC Sport package 2 header into wrong box and ship to the same local dealer? I am 100% sure I order the correct parts # (show on the box) from the local dealer. I am also sure the one I compared to has the identical parts # to the one I bought. They are same in every aspect.

I am not sure if I am somehow unique or not. My stock header lower mounting bracket is mount up straight. But the OBX and the two DC I have seen are mounted with an angle.

Any idea?

Thanks
