well, i would love to use eibach pro or h&r but they all drop 1 1/2". i dont want to rub when i jsut spent $1500 on new wheels and tires. i just want a small drop with a SMALL amount of stiffness. it is still my daily driver.

Are you talking about S-tech? I just installed on my 5g, very very happy with it. I paired them up with AGX shocks. I set both front and back at 2. My ride runs very smooth, no bumpy or whatsoever. The ride is like stock but hugs corner much much better. Very nice drop also, about 1 finger gap in the front, and almost no finger gap in the back. BTW, I have 18 x 7.5 rims with 215/35/18, no rubbing at all. I love Tein!

I have full interior. I went over speed bump just fine. With passenger I go over speed bump slower and at angle to avoid hitting the cat. No rubbing with tires at all under all condition.

Tein advertises 240lb/in front, 207lb/in rear.

Well Eibach makes a progressive spring, which are good for daily driving in that the outer most coils absorb the smaller bumps while the inner's handle the bigger bumps.
Ground control coils are also an option, not sure if they are progressive springs as well, but they are reasonably priced and Eibach makes GC's springs so the quality is there. Plus with coilovers you have a much wider range of adjustablility.
My .02

Oh okay, I see. Well that makes sense then - only an inch drop, and advertised as a comfortable ride . . . . something only marginally stiffer than stock would be in order. They might even work well on stock shocks for a good while.

The Eibach Pro Kit drops 1.2" in the front and 1" in the rear, not 1.5". The Pro Kit are probably the best lowering springs you can buy, good handling. Pair those with Tokico Illuminas.

Nobody really knows, Eibach tries to keep it a secret. But, there is no constant or definitive spring rate like linear (simpler) springs. The Eibach pro-kit spring changes its rate based on load. Normally the higher the load the more resistance the spring will give.
