Default great idea for anyone with the resourses to do it

this probably doesnt belong here but i had an idea tonight that i really needed to share. Since this is what i frequent the most iand its drag racing related i'll post it here. So here goes.

We need a thread posted by someone with the resourses to make it happen that is esentially a step by step evolution of a vehicle from purchse to an predetermained end goal. THe thread would be thus: My goal is to take a budget of X dollars and go X fast. Step by step from the aquisition of the vehicle to the end result. Every dollar accounted, and sourses named for so people can see what it actually takes to go fast. It would be similar i guess ot monster garage but for honda racer. I know what your thinking. If its such a great idea why dont you do it. Well i'm working on it. My bbudget is slowly coming together and i will document my build for just sucjh a thread. I thought howeer if anyone is in a situation to do this before i can it would be a great help to us all. Now i'm off to try to find a digi cam so i can get started.

Oh and it 1am so if this seems random i appologise.

my plan is to take my current 95 dc2 and break mi 11s on nitrous with a investment of 6 grand on top of what i've already got laying around. I'm trying to buy a digi cam so i can start this but my budget is still in the making. Thats why i threw it out for anyone else that may be intrested. It really would be better if you could got start to finish but i'll do what i can with what i got. Right now i have a basiclty stock 95 gsr thats in the process of a satin black paint job to hide its flaws. i have a type R head on the way with a GSR trany and used CM dual friction. Ithe car already has a pieced together single nozzle wet shot jetted a 50hp. I have another direct port kit in a box in the garage and a 3 inch thermal exhaust. i'll be building a new bottom end, probably lsvtec. I havent made a decision on tuning yet but it may be uberdata. whatever works out ot be most cost effective. the goal is 11s in a daily driver with a budget of 6grand on top of what i've spent already. I will not iclude tool prices in the build but i will post them and thier source. Like i said it will be a while before i get into this really serious but i wanted the idea to be outhere ofr anyone willing to share thier own experiences.

i have something that makes this lil idea worthless. Its called the Search button. Find other's setups and what their WHP was to run X 1/4 mi ETC.

Also, nitrous motor, 3" exhaust, mid 11s in a Dc2? hah no. Dont mean to hate, but ive sprayed hondas for many years and closest i came to 11s on the gun was in a 2100lb car on a simple 90 shot. 125 direct port coulda done the trick MAYBE. Point being, not gonna happen in a 2675lb dc2...Unless you enjoy melting OEM pistons. Also a serious nitrous setup will cost as much as a decent turbo kit. theres $2-3k of your $6k right there... Plus you speak of uberdata,,, signs of a low budget with potential of going broke shortly.

okay first of all here what you apperently missed by not reading.

a- i'm not intrested in hp number or engine combos but rather a documented build of a car from start to finish. Not to see how to build a car but as an educational/entertaining piece on how a car is built.

b- i already have enough **** to build almost thre nitrous kits one being a direct port. plus a spare trans a type r head and a dual friction clutch, and various other ****. So my $6grand budget is rather liberal. And who said anything about stock pistons. I've sprayed more cars than anyone i know. I'm a nitrous *****, i'll put a bottle on anything. i've sprayed everything from a briggs 2horse to a ls1 car and countless thing inbetween. Bikes, 1-4th gen f bodies, caviliers sunfires, you name it i prolly sprayed it.

c- several people have gone 11s on stock blocks in a GSR look around a little. the point is a documented build up for entertainment and education. JUst a fun piece rather than another i ran 11s thread followed by page after page of questions.

D- where did ruining your life come from?

sorry man its just that i seen some guys spend money on their cars like if it was spending money on crack, and they literally end up in deep ****. all i said is just that ist good advise to tell someone not to blow money away if they cant afford to.

BUT IF YOU CAN................................... DO IT.
