I started working on my civic today and pulled my fenders, and front bumber off as well as my side skirts. Now, I bought this car about 3 months ago, wanting it to be a daily driver and a proj car but now it looks like its going into a straight up PROJECT CAR! The mfer i bought it from was a MAJOR ricer. Yes it is a riced out 4 door, but im working on that lol.

so anyway, i pull off my side skirts first and was horrified. he was such an idiot the way he installed them plus take a look at the pic of the HUGE hole in BOTH STOCK sideskirts which where underneath the aftermarket ones.

Next i take off the front bumper which was horribly installed with bolts that didnt even fit mounts. Plus, the actual steal bumper was only supported by 2 bolts! OMG i pull my head lights out and see the horrifying discovery of a dumbass beathing the frame to make the headlights fit. Im so pissed but cant do **** about it. i gotta get a second car now so i can strictly work on this.

what are my options at this point as far as the front end? take it to a body shop and have then fix all of it or what? whats that gonna run? this is all front end work so far, im doing the rear bumper tomarrow to see how it is back there. lemme know guys.

i thought he was pretty cool at first but now i have total second thoughts. the only reason i havent gone and slashed his tires is cuz hes a fellow honda guy. but **** it. im about to buy another car and rip this one apart. i searched some junk yards today and didnt find any civics with the front assembly part i need. so ill have to buy a new oem one. o well.

no i know lol. i do feel like a sucker in a way. but eh, gives me a chance to learn more about my car by fixing the **** he did wrong. i laugh at it now. knowing youve got to be a COMPLETE IDIOT to do something like that in the first place lol. Im gonna order the part(s) this week.

i decided it would prolly be cheaper getting a new one rather than TRYING to fix it lol.

Ill post pics later of the progress. as soon as i get my 2nd car this is goin in the garage and bein STRIPPED NAKED! W00T!

wow...that really sucks...similar thing just happened to my friend who bought an ef (also previously owned by a ricer) for 900 which was a piece...next day we found the cleanest ef for 800, CLEANEST!...but anyway, the ef he bought had so many problems with headlight assembly and suspension (when looked at closer for the first time).
