Guys that have painted with oem colors in a car please check in
edit just realized my title says oem colors in a car, obviously its supposed to say in a can
im talking about those oem paints, that are oem colors that come in spray cans
i was wondering how good of a job you can do with these things
iv just been thinking about my next car and what i want to do, and iv always liked the stripped interiors with color matched painted interiors
and i figured it whould probally cost a pretty penney to have a shop do, youd have to pay for the tow and all that ****
so if you guys could give some input and maybe even some pics of stuff youv painted using this oem paint in a can
also what kind of clear coat did you guys use, did the company you bought it from also sell clear in a can
and i do know that the quality of the paint job depends on the prep, and how good you paint and how good you clear, and then color sanding and buffing and all that, id be doing all that ****
just trying to see if its gonna look good or like trash if i do it my self
thanks
eric

i used duplicolor spray paint for my side mirrors, it came out OK, i wouldnt recommend you paint your interior on the other hand... its pretty ricey, and you will regret it when:
1. you have to sell your car
2. the paint begins to chip, and everything looks ghetto
good luck
edit: BTW i used duplicolor clear coat as well on the mirrors
