Default Temperature Rises, What Could Be The Problem??

Aight what up everyone, for the past 2 weeks now, after a lil while of driving around and I come to stop lights or stop for a brief moment, my temperature guage raises damn near to the redline but i dont hear no noises or anything going on. I checked antifreeze, everything is gravy right there. theres antifreeze in the radiator and the holding part also. What could be making my car heat up like that and if you think you know what the problem is, about how much would it cost to get fixed. thanks

i have a 94 accord ex too
and had the same problem,
it would get really high and i would stop and i would hear the fans kick on, and they stayed on for a while, my anti-freeze/coolant looked full but i added some and it took damn near half the jug, and it seemed to be fixed, maybe check the coolant and make sure it just doesnt look full.
