Default Back order on head bolts, now what?

Okay, in the next few weeks I plan on pulling my engine and changing the head gasket and a couple bad mounts. I went to my local Honda today and asked for a head gasket....no problem then I ask for the head bolts and the guy sorta hesitated and said I won't have those, I'll have to order them. I'm like alright now worries I got time, and ask how long it would take. He looks it up and tells me that they are on back order and that he can't order them.......WTF?! So thinking I might have a chance with another dealer having them, I call up another Honda that is close by and they tell me the same thing. I think it's sorta stupid that something like this is back ordered.

Now, I'm stuck. In the helms manual it says that the head bolts should be replaced with the head gasket, and I think that some 9 year old bolts that hold my engine together should be changed too.

I want to know if there is anything I can do to get new ones. I don't want to have to reuse the old ones, but I will if I absolutely have to. Please don't suggest that I just get some ARP head studs, cause I don't want to put that kind of money in THIS particular engine. I'm building one and they will be used on that one.

CIVIC D16Y 208-4305 $91 (arp deal in sponsors right now)
90008-PZ1-003 BOLT-WASHER (10X120.5) $1.84 $0.43

My honda wants a little less than a dollar more for them. Thats only like $30-$40. Yeah, it's A LOT cheaper. Any other ideas?

not really much you can do unless you can find someone that has a new set laying around. Try posting in classifieds or just get arp.

Go to http://www.buypartsdirect.com. They have a toll free number. Their prices are way better than the dealers and they had the studs in stock last week. I ordered some for my friend's B16.
