can someone please explain how a crossover works, and what it does... i woke up thinking that this morning ... TIA

i looked around there and termpro.com, and itsa lot of big tech words, i was kinda looking for something in leighmans tearms that would make more sence to me... thanks for the link though

In the simplest terms...

A speaker is made to play specific frequencies. A crossover will allow only certain frequencies to be sent to the speaker.
