Hey after wading though many archived threads, i still couldnt findout what trans is about to go in my car. The serial sticker on it reads as follows:

SL3-5044359

What kinda trans is it, it is supposedly out of a 91 si. Can anyone verify? Thanks

 

you cant identify by that ... there is a serial number at the bottom of the tranny that is inside a dime sized circle shape thing .tell use that number after you tooth brushed it clean.

PL3/3000 is Si

PL3/A000 or A100 denotes the smaller bearing HF, DX, STD tranny.
