Tranny bolts

Having some trouble ripping out the tranny. How many bolts are holding the tranny in. We took 8 of them out, but it seems there is one holding the tranny up. Is there 8 or more? If only 8 then I guess its time for another workout. Thanks

a ford small-block has 5.

starter bolts. there are 2 bolts that hold the starter in make sure those ar eout
