ok so i have recently been put in a really good situation....my boys step mom owes like 6gs on a 97 honda ex...so she left it on some parkin lot for ppl to do what they want with it...(it was gettin repoed)...anyhow they put the orange sticker on on it...the one that says its gettin towed to a junkyrd...and she said we can have anythin we wanted from it...my boy is keepin the head and block...adn all i really want is the seats and sideskirts....my question is would the seats fit in to my hatch..89 dx..need to know asap...so we can go get em today and put em on before my g/fs graduation at 7...

 

why dont you just take them and if they dont fit sell them

 

it'll be a custom fit. i doubt you can get it all done before 7pm tonight lol

but i'm pretty sure on repos they'll sue you for the amount you owe minus what they recover at auction. a stripped-*** civic won't draw much at auction, so she's kinda screwing herself here......but whatever!

 

when a car gets repoed, its owned by the bank or financing company where she got the loan from. That doesn't make sense that it is being towed to the junk yard. if anything, it will be towed to the title holder (bank), and they will auction it off. If you are caught taking stuff off the car, you can get brought up on charges.

thats the thing on the orange sticker...it even says the name the junkyard its goin to...and were tarding seats....like im puttin mine in and takin those out..
