Someone keyed my car *pics*

I then used some prewax cleanser, then rubbing compound, then wax..
My camera ran out of batterys so I didnt take pics after..
But it doesnt look much better anyways..
This sucks.
Btw does anyone know how easy it is to replace the piece of black trim below the rear window?
Mines all bent and dented up.
Oh yeah and any sugestions on how to get rid of the key marks??

cant really tell from the pics but it looks like they didnt get all the way through to the metal. if thats the case theres tons of high gloss stuff out there you can use, you should try to wax it out. I even heard meguires or mothers has a polish where you wet sand the paint with very very light paper then polish the hell out of it with a certain type of wax and mang that sucka comes out better than the rest of your paint. As matter of fact i saw it on the crank and chrome workshop on tnn this weekend
those 2 old dudes are pretty cool.
if its gone all the way down to the metal just get some touch up paint.

Try some GS27 if you can get any - I'm not kidding. I've never believed in ANY infomercial's or anything that's been hyped on TV, but GS27 actually works. It's basically a super fine grit sandpaper in paste form. Except for where the key went to metal, you may find that panel looking better than the rest of the car.

the only touch up paint i would want is the blood wiped from my hands after kicking that sorry dumb a$$es that did that. well any way looks to be on the hatch only so you could probly just get it repainted if the other sugestions dont work, and they make a polish that will cut into the paint and look the same as the rest but you will have to go to a automotive paint shop to get it dought they have it at pepboys or any where like that all i know it buy is cutting cream
if its down to metal youre SOL
but we used to buff them ut all the time.
fine grit polish compund, a bonnet,
water bottle so as its a 'wet polish'
and a polishing wheel, whizz away on LOW rpm
...
while detailing a BMW once, i droped the mit we
used to wash them with...i picked it up and just kept
on using it...well...it picked up a few tiny rocks, you could
just imagine what it did to a new Black hood,
we polished those out no problemo..hth

People that do that sort of thing should get beat senseless. They have no respect for the property of others. Heaven help the soul I actually catch doing that to my ride.
