My 88 DX CRX was in a little accident about 2 months ago and I'll finally be getting it back from the body shop hopfully this week. I'm going to actually do it this time, Im going to restore the thing.

Here's my list of modifications Ill be making:
1. springs/shocks (lower about 1.5 inches)
2. wheels (02 accord or 99-00 si)
3. bushings (if its worth it)
4. intake (FIPK)
5. headers (cheap ones off ebay)
6. fix rust, get it repainted, door dings removed

Ill be doing some other things along the way that need to fixed and cleaned.

Im not wanting to spend alot of money on this car seeing as its my DD, I dont have alot of money, and Ive already put in an easy 2 or 3 times as much as its worth.

I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions as to places Ill want to check out online for after market parts and oem used stuff. Or just suggestions in general. Glad to hear some feed back, thanks.

well, first thing, the accord wheels wont work, unless you swap the hubs for accord/prelude hubs.

cheap place is gonna be ebay, or the classifieds for used stuff

 

local boards are where it's at for used stuff. you get to see it in person before you buy

just lurk and whatever you need will usually pop up
