1999 Grand Marquis 22 inch wheels Question
My cousin wants to put 22inch wheels(rvm impastos) on his 1999 Grand Marquis but he is worried about a fitment issue. Will the wheels rub and would he have to modify his suspension like new shocks and springs ect. The current tire size is 225/60/16. Thanks for your help.

RVM rims aren't known for their quality and their chrome finishing, you get what you pay for </TD></TR></TABLE>
So do you think that Absolute has better quality? http://www.thewheelconnection....rch=1
and what about the suspension? thanks.

Jesus, IMO 22's look WAY too ****** big for that car and give it the cheesy "im tryin to be a rap baller" look. Bag it on 18-20's would look better IMO. Then he would actually be incorporating knowledge and skill into his car and would get way more credit than just being able to spend money and being able to put on a few lug nuts....if he would even be the one to "install" the wheels.
Be open minded people. Dont flame him just because he likes chrome and big body cars. A real car enthusiest should be a fan of all cars, not just 1 style.

That **** looks clean. Very nice. I'm sure his car will look similar so props to him. What wheels is he getting? Also he won't have fitment issues. Technically the car is lifted when a wheel size like is placed on the car. About suspension, it depends if he founds the ride to bouncy. Personal preference for him to decide.
Man I need to take some pix of the cars in Texas. Love how they look.
