has anyone ever fit tweeters in door panels. with out the Ex tweeter pod. i want to put them flush on the upper front end of the panel.

 

just trace on a circle and carefully cut it out w/ a really sharp knife. you could heat the plastic to help if you want.

Mrfeee1: Are you asking if anybody has every fit flushed tweeters into the pre-cut tweeter holes?

 

i have a DX there are no holes. but i want to fit flush steeters. Im just worried that the tweeters might be too deep and will hit the inside of the door panel and not sit right.

O, ok. For some reason, I thought I saw you had an EJ1. Ummm, if you have the DX door panels, you shouldn't worry. You have room. To make sure, just take the door panels off yourself and check for yourself to be safe.
