If the fan doesn't come wired like that from factory, don't do any Algerian Engineering on it and hack it up. If you have overheating problems, fix it the proper way. I live in 100* heat and at a stand still, my temp gauge NEVER goes up (Brownsville, Texas). It is wired stock from factory, so it comes on when it reaches a certain temperature.

no the fan thats in there now works fine. its just so huge. i wired the slim fan into the stock wiring and the fan didnt come on and caused my car to overheat until i started moving. i want the fan on all the time anyways because it helps the motor stay cold. there are no overheating problems with my car as it sits, just when i put the slimfan on cause the thing wont turn on. i put the slim fan on the battery to make sure it works and it works fine

Is that a question?

Go out and buy yourself the helms manual for your car and use the wiring diagrams in it to wire it up properly, there is a reason that the fan doesn't run ALL THE TIME.........
