Default Sloppy SHift Linkage

So the new sohc zc is in its turbo everything runs real good i hope to get some times this weekend but, the only problem that i am having is the shifter feels like ***. It just feels really sloppy when i put it into gear it will still move from side to side. Hopefully this is something i did wrong and not the throughout bearing, whatcha think?

If you replace the bushings that will help some of the slop. Also, (in my case) the bitch pin that holds the linkage to the tranny could be worn or have some play in it.

i replaced one of the bushing and i couldn't find my bitch pin so i stuck a nut/bolt combo through it could this be the reason for the extreme sloppyness? I mean this **** rediculously sloppy. thanks
