Default Oil-Temp in EP3

Hello. I'am from Germany. I had the idea, that i use the boardcomputer(temperature-outside) of my ep3 to watch the oil-temp. How can i built the sensor and cables to modifing this outside-temp-gauge to a oil-temp-gauge???

Please help me.

you probably don't have a sensor that'll measure temp that high. You probably need something that'll go up to about 148 deg C.
It would be far easier to buy a dedicated oil temp gauge with a sensor thats sealed in a probe so it won't leak.

so If I understand you correctly, there is an outside temp display on your ep3 gauge cluster/dash somewhere? And your intention is to use this to display oil temp?

honestly, it would be far easier just to buy a gauge & mount it somewhere, but good luck with your efforts.

hi. i want make a new sensor in the oil pan. i want connect the wires from outside-temp.-sensor to the new oil pan-sensor. My question is, which cables i must connect with the new sensor. i want use the stock gauge...

Another Question: Where i can find the september-issue of Honda-Tuning where the K-Series are in? Can someone here send me a issue to germany, because here are no shops to buy honda-tuning-magazines...? thx

just go get an aftermarket gauge, they're more accurate.
