exhaust piping mods.. any suggestions
yea i just put 2 1/4 inch piping in my car.. and im thinking bout gettn some headers. should i go stright pipe all the way from the header or from the cat? im thinking bout putting on a apexi n1 or greddy exhuast.. got any suggestions. daily driven in CA, ontario cops are punks so wat exhaust should i go for.. stock lookn but good performance. do you think magna flow is good
for the most power i would go with a custom cat back....you know it is specifically designed for you're car and it is made with the least amount of bends
if you want to stay low key from the cops, i would avoid the Apexi N1 like the plague. some quality quieter exhausts include: RS*R ExMag, Greddy SP2, Apexi WorldSport2, and Thermal Stealth
I'm also contemplating a swapping out my exhaust. Currently a kteller 2.5 with magnaflow resonator and muffler to something quiter such as a RS*R ex mag.
But definitely keep your cat in.

That's quite the contradiction because neither the N1 nor any type of GReddy exhaust looks even remotely stock. What you could do is get custom piping done (KTeller will work) but do NOT use any type of tip. Many people on here have done the same, and it looks fairly low key. If you must have one, just weld on a little piece of non-polished T304 that is the same size as the muffler's outlet. Since your piping is 2.25", get an oval muffler with a 2.25" inlet/outlet, and make sure the "tip" stays 2.25", also. This will stand out a lot less than some cantaloupe-shooting A'PEXi N1.
