ahh 45 series or 40 series going nuts
hey guys please please help me decide what size tire to throw on my 93 integra 205-45-16 or 205-40-16's please post pics if you have them or e-mail me thanks a bunch even the pro's and cons of each series tire
The stock tire for the '93 Integra is 195/60-14.
The 205/45-16 is the better match, because the outer diameter is almost the same as stock (only 0.2 percent larger). The outer diameter of the 205/40-16 is 3.3 percent smaller, so the speedometer and odometer will read higher by that percentage.
You can use a tire calculator like this one to compare tire sizes...

My coworker had the same debate for his DC2, I told him 205/45-16 and even mounted one of each on his slips. 205/45 is definately a better look and fit (they were also Proxes 4's)
