crx tranny help

crx tranny help
I have a 90 crx hf AUTO and the tranny just crapped out on me.
my question how i could go about fixing this problem? could i get a manual transmission and just transfer all that automatic stuff ?
another question.. if i were to swap the engine but keep it automatic, how would i do so? i was planning on getting a sohc zc from hmo since its cheap but i dont know how im gonna do so since it comes with a manual cable tranny.
