well, my hatch was chilling out and the other day it woudnt fire up, i was thinking that the battery was dead so after a few failed attempts at pop starting her i moved onto the next idea, i tried some of that forced start spray stuff that your spray into the manifold to see if the injectors were gummed up but that didnt work either. so i figure maybe im not getting spark, well i returned to the project tonight and now the civ just makes a weird loud buzzing noise when i turn the key into the fire position. my apexi's temp indicator lights flicker now also so im wondering maybe a short(but have no idea where to isolate a short..)... im stumped any help would be great guys thanks alot. oh yea its a gsr motor im toying with...

 

remove your plugs try cranking by hand. Is the buzzing sound mechaincal like something is stuck or electrical like... maybe your main relay has taken a crap on you. that would be the most likely guess. Oh the relay is under your dash, drivers side, left and above the clutch.

 

did the starter engage and turn the motor?

 

starter did not engage. this time. and its hard to tell it sounds electrical but possible mechanical, but the location seems to be near the front it might be a relay i have had problems with them before, but im getting power to my stuff. last time it was a realy my fuel pump wouldnt even turn on...hmm
