all right i was looking into nitrous kits because every one says they are cheep speed, but then I was wondering how much it cost to fill a bottle well the local speed shop said they charge $4.50 a pound witch to me dosent sound like cheep speed to me, so i was wondering how much it cost other places in the country.

 

its 3.50 a lb near me. does n2o get state sales tax if so 10 lb bottle =35+ 6% pa tax

nothing in cars is cheap

 

I am not knoleadgeable on nitrous, but you are saying ~$40 is expensive?

 

Back when I used mine it was $4 a pound, $40 first fill, after that it was roughly $30 to fill (never completely empty)...now the kit sits in the corner and collects dust

 

im not saying $40 is expensive but think about the long run, for me it seems like in a year i could spend more on filling the bottle than i would on a turbo kit and that dosent sound cheep.

 

turbos eventually give out as well
