Default does this seem like a decent price to kit a paint job?

i gotta paint a rear bumper, oem side skirts, and the 2 oem rear valence pieces and MOBworks in Orange quoted me 550. ouch!! i've never had anything painted before so just wondering if this is the going rate for painting a few sections of the car.

i got the MOBworks recommendation from this forum, so anyone who's had work done by them lemme know yor opinions. thanks.

edit: nevermind the title of this post, wasnt paying attention

ya, sounds descent. However do realize that a paint job AS GOOD AS an factory one is very expensive. For instance I know a shop that will paint just about any panel for 100 bucks, but the paint is not as good (durability wise as OEM), but it does look damn good. If your getting anything in front, like bumpers, make sure you kit that paint job real good, otherwise it will chip easily (from debris). Should be ok in your situation though.

kinda $$$ since there will be limited prep work to be done, no masking or removal of parts (a big portion of labor cost), I would shop around.

You are in Long Beach. Give Alpine #2 a call, and ask for Richard. They just did my car and it came out great. There paint job on my bumper looks better than my factory paint, and they used factory paint. They are kinda expensive, but may be able to beat 550. They are located near Long Beach blvd and anaheim. I would give you a number, but my wallet is in my car. Tell them Shawn with the blue integra refered you. I have pics of their work if you want to see.

make sure they spray at least 3 or 4 coats of paint and 1 or 2 coats of clear........if its just 1 or 2 coats of paint, it will be chipping within a year

i'm getting my front bumper, hood and fender painted for 150......4 coats and 2 clear coats
