Default Euro-R Intake Manifold on H23 non-VTEC?

Theres a lot of talk about the Euro-R IM on the H22 head, but has anybody tried using the Euro-R IM on a H23 non-VTEC head?

And also, would there even be any advantage to using the Euro-R IM on the H23?

I'm trying to slowly add power to my SI without swapping out the motor.

So far I only have:

DC 4-2-1 Ceramic header (I know it's a crappy header, but it was cheap and much better than the stock exhaust manifold)
RandomTech Hi-Flow Cat
Apex'i WS Cat Back system
Removed balancer belt

Future mods:
Pulleys
Cams/cam gears (if I find a good deal or if OBX wants to make some for the H23)
Better flowing intake manifold and maybe the Hondata I/M gasket

The flange is different because the port spacing is different between heads... It would be physically possible if you were to cut most or possibly the entire lengths of the runners off and then weld on an h23 flange... But that would require mutilating a Euro-R manifold and doing some welding/custom fabrication.... Never seen or heard of it and don't know about the gains, although I'm sure they would be significant...

inlinefour.com says it will fit any F or H series cylinder head...

http://store.yahoo.com/twincamtech/aceurinman.html

however, it does mention that some modification is needed to fit properly....

Yes I know it won't bolt up, but maybe will work with some modding. I'm just exploring intake manifold options for us H23 guys.

major moddification.. if your even considering this, the amount of work it will require you might as well cut the entire plenuem open and polish and re weld it on, then cut the lower part of the h23 intake mani off and then well it on and port match and polish the welded section..

alot of work

So general consensus is to port my stock manifold over modding the EuroR IM to fit

I think H23 and H22 have the same intake manifold. So it should fit.

Wrong. And for anyone else that wants to try it, good luck finding an easy way to mount the H23 thermostat housing to your Euro-R flange...

If you want to hack one apart to be different then by all means go for it. Otherwise take the time to read up and customize your existing IM to fit your setup. It would be easier and cheaper in the long run and probably perform better.

How about no on that one.

Just port the stock H23 manifold and definately get the Hondata gasket.
