Default plx devices r-500 r500, ANY GOOD?

Anybody use a plx devices r-500 unit, or know of somebody that has? Do they like it? Does the datalogging work well? Any pros or cons and comparing it to the other units out there?

yeah i've heard of many liking the m300, and a few that have bought the m500 seem to like them as well. With this new LCD display and datalogging without a laptop capability, I am very excited, but want to be 99% sure i'll be happy before I buy it.

Meh, they can't even get their rpm thing to work right. Also, you can't monitor the 6 input channels from the LCD display.

Anybody that used the R-500 have some info, not about any other widebands, just the R-500 plx one.

It seems that not many people have written up on the R-500 yet as it is still pretty new. They may actually be like you and also be waiting for others opinions. You may have some luck searching thru other forums like evolutionm.net. I believe there are some posts about the R-500 in that evo forum. I know that a few have it installed into their vehicle and are playing with their new toy. I am interested in what others have to say as well. Please post on what you have found

first off, read the spec here:
http://www.streetrays.com/cata.../9516

(NOT TRYING TO ADVERTISE HERE )

and try to get some idea about how MANY things this device can do and how unlimited its capability set is.

EGT, A/F, knock, warning light, software reflash!! well I don't even know where to stop.

this time, PLX got it right

or maybe even the M-250 + gauge combo?
