Default twin carb on 89 accord

no no no its not a snow plow! sorry for the outburst.
seriously though i'm pretty sure the prelude ET2 motor 1.8L is close enough to the A22 that the intakes match, i am taking the lude intake to the parts store to compare it to the accord intake gasket just to be sure.
anyways anyone know anything about the kei hin carbs i need to know if i can get bigger jets to boost them up for the 2.0L motor.
i know this is a low tech and most likely a small power gain but with the tops chromed it would look cool in the engine bay.
also can i get rid of the big vacuum hose monster that sits on the passenger side
i'm not worried about losing gas milage or emissions since the loss in emissions control would be a small drop from what is going on now. i am thinking of a header
as well. i figured this would be an interesting low tech old school way to do

any links or topic names that have been done on this here already would be appreciated thanks guys.
P.S. i posted a similar topic on the prelude boards to double my chances of getting this figured out. only paid 75 bucks for the complete setup

well, the intake flange is different, so you would need to change heads to do it...

and there is no such thing as an a22... 2 litre was the bigest one they made in the a series line...

if you want real performance, i'd go with webers... dual DCOEs is good well past the point these motors just can't make any more power... weir racing has made DCOE manifolds for these engines... contact them and have them made...

http://www.3geez.com is much more informative than honda-tech for these older accords

your right my bad the motor code is A20A1
i'm not going to change the heads actually i've decided to fabricate a new manifold using aanother intake from my year car and welding 2 plates onto it where the ports merge into 2 runners right before they merge back into one for the single carb i can send it out here in orlando and have it done for about 350 dollars and i dont do anything, but i think i am going to do the fabricating and have a shop i know do the actual welding.
thanks for the help vanilla sky and thanks for the link!!!
i will keep you all posted on this project in fact if i have enough money i will run my car on a local dyno for a before and after comparision otherwise i will get it at least dyno'd afterwards.
since i am trying to stay low budget i am going to rejet the stock carbs about 2 sizes over unless i find i need to go even bigger i figure this will save me around $600 on buying new webers which i would still have to modify an intake since weber doesnt make one for my year car.
