FS: 89 Civic DX hatch, 5spd, Minnesota
FOR SALE:
89 Civic hatchback DX
Sorry, title says 88, but it's an 89. To be clear. Thanx.
-5spd DX tranny, works good, good clutch, believe it has no grinds
-Engine, still in car. Does not work, probably low compression, no accessories such as intake manifold, distributor, alternator, engine wiring harness, missing two motor mounts
-Body could use little work. No major rust, small dents, dings, etc.
-Missing spoiler and lights are cracked
-Slight crack in front windshield
-Brakes don't work. NONE. I can put you in contact of last owner for missing rear brake parts. I believe it needs rear brake cylinders, pads.
-Small interior pieces are missing, door panels are ripped, front seats are ripped.
-Driver side shock is in, but not installed all the way
-Engine is leaning cause it's missing two motor mounts.
-Engine fans and radiator is inside car.
-Was told exhaust has no leaks and clutch is in pretty good condition too.
-In pix, hood is just not closed all the way, looks odd.
Needs TLC. Very good candidate for a project Civic. No rear quarter rust.
