Default H23 swap in a 91 accord

I need some info on the h23 that will it be just as compatible for my accord as an h22 swap. I would rather have the h22 but i got this h23 from a salvage yard for $55 so if anybody knows if im wasting my time with it please tell me asap.

Same fitment.

I'd go H23 over H22...my personnel decision.

H23's are great engines...they offer great head flow due to being DOHC and decent compression numbers for either NA or boost. Depending on what you want to do you can make a h23 better than an h22 NTM it's different.

Think of the h23 motor as the integra ls motor, same characteristics but with obviously more power and bigger displacement. If you want I can find info (hp, tq compression etc) on the h23, or you can by searching .

Also you can do an h23 bottom end with a h22 top end enabling vtec (think of again ls/vtec). A great engine IMO and not to mention its CHEAP!
