What is this? Stock HF motor.
That's the Egr valve.....It's mounted on the side of the motor. You need it to pass smog. If you are failing smog with the Nox it's that little p.o.s. right there....

Dude, you got a rusty *****. Put some damn WD40 on there before you hurt somebody or start jerking off with sandpaper, your choice.

dude does this car have a factory sliding sun roof because it is an hf motor all the way ? why would someone put a hf motor in a si also if the egr has a plug plug'd into it it is an hf simple solution call your local honda dealer and give them the
VIN# and they can tell you alot about the car weater it came with added sun roof or not

It's your EGR valve and if it has burnt out forget about passing smog. Get a new one but don't leave it on too long after you pass smog otherwise your car will run like crap.
