I was thinking of getting 3-ways all around and the two tweeters for the door panel.

Infinity used to make a decent set of 3 ways that sounded surprisingly well for the price. Some people like to have the mids and highs from the rear.

 

If you listen to anything with any kind of bass (i.e. rap, rnb, techno?) you'll prob. want a sub. If you haven't heard a system with a sub don't ever listen to one, as you'll prob. want one.
