v-tec head
i don't know much about this topic, because someone only mentioned it to me, so sorry if i say it wrong. I drive a 94 LS 2 door. I don't want to get a full engine swap, but somebody told me i could just get a v-tec head and that would boost the performance of my car tremendously. Does any one know about this? And if so, how much would it cost?

Yes this can be done and it's very common. The cost varies greatly since there is several ways to go about it.
Your best bet is to research and see if this is something you want to get into. There are pros and cons to the Ls/Vtec (search using this term) but if you do it right, I think you'll be very pleased.
Fortunetly, there are several companies that now make kits to help with the install. A good source is http://www.goldeneaglemfg.com , their kit cost about $240 but it's very thorough.
Also check out http://www.hondaswap.com for more info. If you're not familiar with cars, dont even think of doing this yourself. You'll need to find a shop that can do it for you and it's going to be $$$$$. Good Luck
