Wish I could give you guys a sound clip of what mine sounds like. I love it. I have a HKS super-dragger. It's not insanely loud or high pitched. It's a nice, deep tone. It's probably a little louder than flow-masters.

Not to mention it has nice mid/upper gains.

I have a SOHC EG. No sound clips. I get compliments from all my friends that ride with me. They all love the way it sounds. Even my hick domestic anti-import friend said it sounds good for an import.

i have the hks hi-power with 2 1/4 muffler shop special piping on my eg... motor is single cam vtec... it is super super quiet until about 4800 rpm then all hell breaks loose... it is by far the best sounding exhaust ive ever heard on a vtec motor... my friend has the same on his da with a b20 and it sounds horrible

Are you talking about a muffler or full catback? I got a full catback. I just put the axle-back on, along with the midpipe. slid it all into the brackets, then bolted the midpipe and axleback together, then bolted the midpipe to the cat.

Mine is straight through. I don't think the people angle the mufflers themselves, that's the way they come from the factory. Some companies say that the angled design is supposed to help airflow, while other companies are still making the straight mufflers.

The HKS Hipower is that loud as on the website....

The HKS midpipe section got 2 free flow dempers

so with a complete cat back you stil have 3 free flow dempers!

The HKS comes angled without any modifications..my piping is under LCA design..SOMETIMES it scrapes on speedbumps.

Wow, that sounds awesome.

That second one looks like it's on and Si? I'm concidering this exhaust for my 00 EX (2D). Sounds awesome, I wonder how different it would sound with the single cam...

Anyway, question, when you say test pipe, what exactly does that mean? No res?

Test pipe as in no cat. For the sway bar question from DutchEG6, my hks exhaust is under LCA design so it is no where near the sway bar. And for Kayura, yes that clip is from my 00 Si before I installed my DC header..its a little bit louder and a little deeper in tone now..still sounds awesome. Im gonna try to make a few drive by videos so everyone can hear how it sounds.

Thanks for the reply. Would having the cat in there make much a difference? (sound/performance)

Anyway, would LOVE to hear the drive-by vid.
