how thick is an oem sway bar?
i was wondering how thick the sway bar is for a 4th gen SI. i wanted to know about the rear. running on 350/450 and i was looking at the ST rear sway. just started to look around and i found it for 119.99. it is 1 inch or 25.4mm. i think that thickness should suffice. would i also run into problems with it ripping out of the subframe? my springrates in the rear should easily be able to handle the 25.4mm sway bar right?
also, would having my rear slightly higher than my front allow my car to rotate easier? the rear is currently about .5 inches higher than my front.

YYYeeepp. I just measured my stock rear bar in the backyard and it's 22mm. If you're worried about subframe tearage, I would look into a Progress bar. It's 3-way adjustable and comes with new beefy brackets..
would just upgrading the mounts be a worthwhile upgrade. They go for under $10 for suspension techniques polyeurethane bushings at local pep boys and autozones here. how do you like your sway bar, noticable difference?
