I thought this was a straight swap..I just dropped in the motor but the driver side mount from my DX motor doesnt line up with the bolts coming out of the block...also they are a smaller thread from the nuts that i took off my DX..........someone told me that i had to use a sohc vtec mount....If this is true...can i use a mount from a CX/VX since they have vtec..???

 

yes the 94-5 d16z6 used different top mount, but what you can do is take it completly off the block and attach your dx mount...
