Default FS: '93 EG Civic Coupe EX Theft Recovery - Massachusetts (B18A, GSR Tranny, etc)

My EG coupe was stolen last month and I am now putting it up for sale. It is a 1993 Honda Civic EX coupe - purple in color. The chasis has ~200,000 miles on it.

VIN furnished upon request.

Here are the BEFORE pictures:

*Edit 5/19/05 - Pics added*
Here are the AFTER pictures:

I will have the car on Wednesday, 5/18/05, so I do not have pictures of it's current condition. I have seen it, however, but they wouldn't let me take pictures.

Here is what it is missing:

Front Bumper Cover
Hood
Right and Left front fenders
Pass headlight, front turn signals
Steering wheel
Gauge Cluster
Spoiler
Distributor, spark plug wires
Air intake tube w/filter
Radio
GSR wheels

Here is what is still has:

B18A longblock (I had just swapped this in in September of '04)
'94 GSR Hydro Tranny (it had ~80k when it was put in - prolly has ~90k on it now)
Spoon Flywheel (it was resurfaced before it was put in)
GSR Front Hubs/brakes
Omnipower Front Camber kit (this had maybe 4 months on it)
Outer tie rods replaced in Sept. 04
'93 del sol manual steering rack installed in Sept. 04(car was converted to manual steering)
Skunk2 coilovers w/front oem honda shocks and rear kyb's
Del sol shift liver w/prothane poly bushings installed in Sept. 04
Prothane Front LCA poly bushings installed in Jan. 04
Catalytic converter purchased in Feb. 05 from autozone - so it has 2 months of use
DC muffler
Autozone exhaust mid-pipe installed in Dec. 04
GSR front seats - Sold! 6/10/05
All interior (dash is cracked where gauge cluster was ripped out) - Sold! 6/10/05
All suspension
All Brakes
All rear lights

The bad:

The thieves took the spark plug wires, leaving the engine exposed to rain now for two weeks. I tried to put a piece of plastic over the engine but who knows. It was running great before it was stolen. Also, the thieves sprayed blue spray paint on the car.

The good:

The car had just passed inspection in January '05. It was running great prior to it being stolen. There is no frame damage at all. They just drove it, parked it, stripped it, and dropped it off somewhere.

Please shoot me some reasonable offers - located in Western Mass. Send me a PM on here or email dlric@yahoo.com. I accept paypal/money order. I currently have the title and it is clean.

I will post pictures of it's current condition on Wednesday.

Vouches: keithv, tbone, berkel, sonic, cyrk007, jcushing, own_the_sowboy, gamby, etc.

Thanks.

pics finally up! see first post.

the interior is dry so the seats and everything else is fine. i think just the door panels got wet from the rain. the b18a has water in the spark plug holes from it sitting in the tow yard. the engine itself looks fine though so i'm sure it can be spared. the thieves put 14" integra wheels on the rear, a spare on the front pass side and a 14" steelie on the driv side.

i'm thinkin $1000 and just take it away. i ask that because the front suspension i replaced had 6 months or less on it...then add in the gsr tranny, spoon fly, etc.

btw. your car was stolen by someone related to a collision repair shop. they are fixing a 92-95 with front end damage and a deployed airbag. anyone else would have taken motor and trans.

hmmm...that could definitely be true. i had a momo steering wheel tho, so no air bag. but considering they took the hood, fenders and one headlight that def makes sense...
