Default Offset question

I'm planning to purchase SSR competition in a little while.
Will I have any rubbing issue with below set up ?

CAR : 00 SI
Comtech Springs with Bilsteins (middle purch)
(lowered about 1.5inches all around)

WHEELS : SSR Competition
16 x 6 +42mm offset
205/45/16 (Kumho ?)

Do I need more of an offset (44-45mm) to avoid any rubbing?
If you have similar set up, please kindly advise.

Thank you

No, it should be ok. Your 16X6 is 1" narrower than most at 16X7. It should actually be better than most guys that roll on 16X7s. I don't think you will have any problems.

To give you some idea in comparison, I roll on 15X6.5 on 40mm on 97 Civic, with 1.75F/1.5R drop. It works 95% of the time when I had 195/55/15.

Woops. Made a mistake on the size...
It should be 16 x 7

WHEELS : SSR Competition
16 x 7 +42mm offset
205/45/16 (Kumho ?)

It should be ok too. 1.5 drop is not too extreme. I think most guys with 16X7 go with 42mm.

Your biggest concern should be rubbing on the control arms, not on the fender. With 205 tires you should have no problem. Since SSR only makes one offset that's close to right you don't have an option anyway.

If you're worried about it, the 6.5" width will work fine with 205 tires.
