CRX cluster in a 88 dx hatch and thermostat problem??

Default CRX cluster in a 88 dx hatch and thermostat problem??

Will a crx cluster fit in a 88 dx hatch with no tach?. Also I have another problem my car is overheating, changed the thermostat and still does the same thing, my upper hose gets hot and the bottom cold, fan does not go on. Anybody knows what is causing this be please let me know thanks in advance.

if its a 88-89 cluster im pretty sure it should fit but 90-91 are more rounder and have different wiring pinouts. and your overheating problem is probablly cause your fan is not coming on.

Fan not coming on. or your Thermostat is locked.

Check and make sure that your fan is kicking in first.
if it is turning on,
then change out your thermostat.

Cluster has nothing to do with the car over heating.

follow this rule...88-89 All Civic/CRX clusters swap. incl. 4 drs.....no wiring mods.

All 90-91 Civic/CRX clusters swap...same thing as above 4dr's and no winring.

But 88-89 clusters wont swap into 90-91 and vise versa.
