Yup, I got rolled by a typeR motored hatch. (Looks to be a CX or DX EG.) It wasn't unexpected, so whatever. Basically, we rolled off @ ~5mph and he punched and I punched it about a second later. ( pretty awful reaction time, eh? ) Anyway, he was out about 2 car length and it stay that way 'til 70. I gave them thumbs up. (There were two skinny teenages in the seat... no offense, but you guys were skinnier than me. )

Oh yeah, it was at a local track.

well, if it was a b16 swap, the ITR would have rolled the hatch, unless the hatch was mad light.

ITR motor in a hatch is sick.

 

My B18C1 CX will roll my ITR any day of the week in the 1/4 mile. Any long race and the ITR will pull ahead.

 

Oh yeah? Then give me an estimate of stock jdm itr motor in a crx full interior, and gutted for 1/4.....

 

CRX/B18C5 hybrid...hmm...

yeah it happened to me too (when the car was stock) , alittle blk bondoed up bubble back civic took me. I made me crazy but now he does even come near me hahaha

What, you've never been to the rolling start track in Lilburn?!? It's real cheap too.

Anyway, there were two skinny Asian guys (seems to be in H.S. or Frosh in college) in the car. The passenger said typeR swap and I'll take his word for it. I know that's being generous, but I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt. (Also, if it matters any, he spun @ the start, but the tires hooked up right away... as if there were some sort of LSD.) All I know is that he rolled me and that's fine with me. Now... maybe it's time to bolt-on the header and get some FD!

My 88 CRX w/ B18C5 making 188/130 at the wheels ran deep 13's all night on street tires. 13.10 was my best.
No interior. Just a driver's seat and dash. 60ft. in the 2.2 area..

CRX is so damn light, you can stick anything in it to make it fast.

Isnt your hatch powered by a 99-00 SI motor? They seem to be A LOT stronger than previous model B16's.

stock b16a in a hatchcrap against a stock r is close. not too sure bout the walking away from... b18c in a hatchcrap will walk.

 

But what B16 hatches are stock....? LOL.
