Just like the topic says, what kind of paint would you use? Brand new they are a graphite-ish flat black...not totally black, so using a regular flat black spray paint wouldnt retain the stock look.

The reason behind this is becuase the exhuast is starting to rust in some areas, and I really like this exhuast, and would love to keep it for as long as I keep the car.

 

remove the old black paint and it should be polished underneath it...not 100% sure but give it a try. when rsr's were first brought into the USA back around 94...carboy and robocar used to remove the ceramic black coating and sell them for a little more since they were bling bling underneath...

 

haha awesome! I dunno if I want in bling bling looking. I try to keep my junt lowski, from the exhuast to my 4x4 ride height. Is there a store that sells the ceramic paint?

 

your local pepboys or kragen should have ceramic flat black...but i've noticed that after awhile, the ceramic black rattle can paint turns gray over a period of time with heat on the muffler. if you can't find the paint locally, try jegs.com or summitracing.com. they have that paint for sure...
