my love for NA us fading...
i live in albuquerque at 5000+ ft. elevation. N/A cars perform really bad here. most people in albuquerque boost their cars. i been with N/A all my life, i got a mildly build gsr in my eg. and planning 85mm ls vtec in the future. but my love of n/a seem to be fading. spend all the money in a na i would gain more if i boost. what you guys think n/a all the way...thanks

Are you kidding? It takes WAY more money to reach a decent hp/tq goal in an NA car than going boosted. If all someone is doing is little bolt-ons then that really isn't NA anyway.
I personally prefer NA, but for his circumstances he could throw on a relatively small turbo and a FMI, and run a small amount of boost that will appear very low in the RPM range. In his case not only would he gain the power from boosting, but he would gain back all the power he was losing before from suffocating his motor also.
In higher elevations with less dense air, FI is the only way to go even when you aren't going for high power.

my n/a love is also fading. ive reach my goal 200whp n/a in 3 engines already and 2 of them blew. to prevent losing my b18cR i parked my car up at my parents house and purchased a 95 honda civic. i soon became bored with stock performace and purchased a greedy turbo kit for it. stock block turbo this d16z6 sohc 1.6 can reach 200whp like nothing, has more torque and spent less money on this setup than my 1.8 setups and dare i say, more relable than my n/a set ups. its hard to stay n/a now since turbo parts are becoming cheaper.
I feel for you man. I am also in ABQ. 200whp here is really like 160whp according to the dynojet correction factor.
Integras are kinda heavy so maybe you can look into a hatch or CRX that would drop a few hundred pounds. I have my hybrid engine in a 4th gen Prelude and it sucks when you step on the gas and it takes a while to get anywhere.
If you want to go turbo then pony up the $$$ and then you can compete with the turbo Neon craze here. Personally I like the lightweight/reliable aspects of NA.

I understand that building a n/a setup for high output is more expensive then slapping a turbo on. HOWEVER, this comparison is being made on a prelimiary basis. Going turbo is not cheap, believe me, I've been there. The only way a turbo setup will cost you less, is if you get a really good deal or you have a Ghetto fabulous setup! The minor details involved with turbo can quickly add up. There are so many components to upgrade if you want a proper setup.
That being said, I think it all comes down to your personal driving perference. Are you a straight line kinda guy? Do you like tracking(roadcourses)? Remember one thing...a turbo setup cannot be beaten on constantly. 3 to 4 pulls on the highway...and thats it...you gotta back off. Good luck with your decision.

Speaking of non-straight line, there is a open roadcourse track event at Sandia Motorsports Park by Paseo de Vulcan outside of ABQ in 2 weeks (May 29th). All you need is a helmet, $80 and a full tank for all day.
It is the Wallace Bow Invitational Road Race. Look it up at http://www.wallacebow.com
