Default Solid Motor Mount Inserts off Summit Racing... any good?

Like title says... the look ok but do they actually do a decent enough job to get rid of the thump of the motor when hard shifting? Anyone know what motor mounts these inserts will cover also?

I put in the energy suspension motor mount in my teg and they made a world of a difference. I have 3rd gen teg and they inserts go in the tourque mounts (the one on the bottom of the tranny and the one that is part of the ac bracket) and the rear motor mount. I haven't put the rear inserts in because they are a bitch to get in, but just the other two replaced made an awesome difference. There isn't any delay of when I hit the gas like it was before. You do feel more vibrations within the car though, but I can live with that!!

Yea thats what I'm about to order are the ES Inserts.. but I was hoping someone with a 2G Teg knows anything, the DA's only have 4 mounts, 1 front, 1 rear, and 1 on each side and in the ES Kit, one insert isn't given, I'm thinking its the tranny mount but that one I can just fill in with something to make it solid i suppose.

I hope the ES Inserts gets rid of my wheel hop, i could care less about vibrations, my exhaust already does that enough, lol

If it's a daily driver the vibration will wear on you shortly. I just used ITR mounts.

Having all 3 inserts installed (2 lower & rear) does not create much vibration at all. If this bothers you, then live with wheel hop. I'm running jimfabs... the inserts didn't have enough vibration for me...

honestly with the ES inserts it doesnt vibrate at all. and if you idling where you should be (750-900) then it basically cancels it out and its smooth. im idling a little low right now and it vibrates but not enough to bug me. and im pretty nitpicky when i hear vibrations and random stupid sounds. go for it i say! its a must if you have aftermarket parts

Thanks, I'm gonna do it.... The ES inserts only cover 3 mounts so whatever mount it doesn't cover I'm just gonna fill it with something to make it solid.
