I just used some on my rims and I had a near-by paint tray that was solid plastic. I decided to put some on the plastic to see if the remover was as strong as everyone said it would be. WOW. It ate through the plastic in 1 min. So I would say YES it will screw your urethane bumper!

Orbital sander.

If the paint cracked maybe they didn't use a flex agent so even a sharp blade will chip the paint right off.

well the guy that had it on his car went in a ditch goin like 50 so thats why its all cracked. behh ill try a sander tomorrow its just a pain in the ***.

i actually tested part of the bumper w/ the aircraft remover. i didnt leave it on there long at all, took the paint right off but it did make the urethane kind of soft. but after sitting for like 30 minutes it got hard again. so i duno i think im gona test a bigger spot tomorrow.

you could try thinner, just wipe some on. it might help remove the paint. i dont know how easy it will get through the clear though.

What grit are you using?

80 is what you want to start
stop when you hit the old primer.

I'd stay away if it's softening the plastic once it hardens it will leave riples and will make it look cheap.

If you can't take the time you might want to consider sending it to a shop. Cutting corners will not give you the result you want.

well i just did a whole sideskirt w/ the paint remover, i just let it sit on there for like 1 minute, it took off the paint and left most of the primer. didnt soften the urethane at all soo i guess that will work for the rest of my stuff now i just gota go back and sand it make sure everything is smooth and straight
