Default How To: Cleaning tinted windows???

I recently got my windows tinted and there are some water streaks from them putting the shop putting the tint on, I was wondering what do I need to use to clean the windows that wont mess up or sratch the tint? Just soap and water and a soft cloth? What kind of cloth should I use? There is also a little bubble near the back of the passangers side door window, What can I do about taking it away? Should I just not worry about and try to fix it if it gets worse or should I take it back to the shop in a couple of days since there is a lifetime warranty? Let me know what I should do.

After I got my windows tinted I had to take it back a week later for them to look it over and fix any bubbles that were there. As far as cleaning Ive just been using windex, I dont know if thats good or not. Make sure you dont put your windows down for like the first week and Id take it back for the bubbles since there is a lifetime warranty.

Did they tell you that you had to do that or did you just want to? How bad were the bubbles? and how many did you have? I dont really want to take my car back if there are only a few small ones. They told me that I only had to wait 2 days.

Using cleaner with Amonia is a no-no on tinted windows.

Just use a glass-cleaner... most will say they are safe for tinted windows.

They told me to take it back after a week..they wanted to be the first ones to roll the windows down incase they got messed up. There were some bubbles mostly on the back window about the size of a dime they fixed them right away for me.

Where I took it I dont think they care about that. They said the warranty covers bubbling or pealing. I have pinky nail size bubble that cant really be seen b/c of the weather strip on the passanger door window and there are 2 even smallers ones on the same window that is barley noticable and then there is a spot the size of a half dolor that has all these really little bubbles. I think that is it. I will probably take it back next saturday. While I am there I am going to get a strip across the windshield and get the sunroof tinted. What can I do to make the streaks go away?
