Default Moroso Quick Release Hood Pins

Didn't know where else to post this...

Anyone have any experience with these or know if they are actually worth buying, as in do they actually hold the hood down.
I need some hoodpins for my hood but I dont want the bulky pin looking kind. By looking at these it doesnt look like they do much

I have them on my c/f hood. Not bad IMO, they do the job. Sturdy and easy to close if the install is right. Down side, depending on how you mount them, the latch tends to slide down while in the open position as you're trying to pop the hood latch.. Sometimes I have to ask for help... lol

edit: this is the best pic i could find of them.....

Someone in Appearance had them on their car, I liked their low profile instead of big silver dots on your hood. I'd like to get a set but I can't find anywhere to mailorder them.
