Default How To PUT CAR IN TIME?

How can I put my car in time? My dizzy was not put on right and it jumped out of the socket and went back in and jumped back out......dont asked how this happen! Ok if you must know I let my 10 year old nephew turn the key. So when I say "STOP" he says "HUH".....STUPID KID...lol! Anyways I beleive it went out of time because now it sound weird when I try to start it. It makes a winding noise and not a start up noise. Can I put it in time from the dizzy or do I have to go to the timing belt? Oh and does any one know the way the wires are suppost to be lined up. Cause I think there put on wrong on the dizzy...like which one is 1,2,3 and 4? Its for a b16a2. And if you think this is a stupid question that I sould know read my avatar !

The spark plug wires should be on the dizzy in the following order going clockwise: 1,3,4,2

3 4
1 2

As for setting the timing. Place the #1 cylinder to TDC on the compression stroke, then remove the distributer cap and point the rotor to the #1 cylinder cap post. Then it should be lined up with the cam slot for the dizzy. Tighten the dizzy bolts hand tight, then use a timing light to set it to 16 degrees. Then tighten the bolts when you get it to 16 degrees.
