what do you mean? don't go higher than 8200 k on stock valvetrain i usually take mine to 7-8k no more...

 

the best answer is: take it to a tuner or Dyno. Put it on there and you will see where you peak power is. In other words, if your car is loosing power at 7200, why then take it to 8000...
most dyno on a stock b16, you will start dropping at 7200. so you would want to shift at 7500.
